It can be difficult to know which Bean to Cup Coffee Machine is the best.
1. Sage by Heston Blumenthal the Barista
The most talked about beant to cup coffee machine of 2016 has to be the incredible Sage by Heston Blumenthal the Barista, Express Coffee Machine and Grinder 1700W. Sage have been making high quality coffee machines for years but have only really become a household name since the celebrity chef, Heston Blumenthal put his name on their products. A good marketing tactic for sure, but it doesn’t detract from the fact that the bean to cup coffee machine is well built, stylish and makes excellent coffee.
2. De’Longhi Magnifica ESAM4200
The UK’s best selling bean to cup coffee machine of 2016 is the excellent De’Longhi Magnifica ESAM4200. De’Longhi have really hit the sweet spot with this bean to cup coffee machine, it’s the cheapest of the three but has all of the essential features that will make excellent coffee. It has a 13 step integrated burr grinder for beans but the machine can be used with pre ground coffee too. It’s only bad point is the basic milk frother, it’s not that easy to use and will take some learning in order to make really good cappuccinos. The next model up, the Magnifica S ECAM 22.110.SB, has a better milk steaming wand as well as a better control panel and is well worth considering.
3. Andrew James Premium Programmable
If you are looking for a budget bean to cup coffee machine then you can’t go wrong with the extremely popular Andrew James Premium Programmable Chrome Filter Coffee Maker With Integrated Bean Grinder. This isn’t an espresso machine as it can only make percolated / drip coffee but it does this from freshly ground coffee beans so you will get excellent results. No more messing about with disposable paper filters either, it includes a Reusable Filter that can be easily rinsed out between uses.
There’s no milk steamer either but if you’re not bothered about frothy milk then this simple machine will produce excellent coffee with no fuss. It’s amazingly popular and it’s easy to see why, it does its job well, great modern design and all at a fantastic low price. Read the Amazon reviews for it here.
